Vikas Bhatia

Vikas Bhatia is a Principal Architect at United Airlines since August 2003, responsible for the strategy and design of baggage applications, including the migration of on-premises systems to AWS and a shift to Microservices architecture. Vikas has built highly scalable applications processing millions of messages daily and previously served as Development Team Lead, managing teams to create event-based rule engine applications. Vikas's extensive experience includes roles as Technical Lead, Development Lead at Avolar focusing on systems integration, Software Engineer at CoreComm Limited developing customer care products, and Application Development Team Lead at ST Microelectronics for information management systems. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum.
