Umer Zarif Malik

Umer Zarif Malik is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in corporate banking. Currently serving as Unit Head of Corporate Banking at UBL - United Bank Limited since September 2025, Umer has previously held significant positions at Habib Bank AG Zurich, where roles included AVP and Senior Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking. Earlier experience includes a Senior Relationship Manager role at Bank Alfalah Limited, and a focus on relationship management during tenure at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank. Umer began the banking career at Citi in cash management and trade services. Umer's educational background includes an MBA in Finance & IT, along with qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Bankers in the UK, complemented by a Master’s degree from the University of the Punjab and foundational schooling from Beacon House School.
