Hendrik Tschoep is an experienced professional in plant breeding and genetics, currently serving as the Director of Breeding Operations & Product Innovation at United Beet Seeds since September 2024. Prior to this role, Hendrik held various positions at SESVANDERHAVE from September 2008 to September 2024, including Director of Breeding and Head of Inbred Line Development Sugar Beet. Academic foundations were established with a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology and Genetics from the University of Potsdam, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from the University of East Anglia and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biotechnology from Technische Universität Dresden. Early career experiences include research roles as an MSc Student at the John Innes Centre and as a BSc Student at SunGene GmbH.
