Steve Higdon CSP, MSOS, CHST, STS-C is a highly experienced safety professional currently serving as a Senior Safety Specialist/Training Integration at UCOR since June 2022. At UCOR, Steve is part of the Training Cadre, focusing on the integration, implementation, and revision of enterprise-wide training programs. Prior to this role, Steve worked as a Project Safety Manager at Harrison Construction Company from 2016 to June 2022, managing safety programs for the company's inaugural Department of Energy project. Steve has also held safety management positions at CCC Group, Inc., and The Shaw Group, and began a career with Fluor Corporation, where various projects across multiple industries were undertaken. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational Safety from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Entrepreneurship from Western Carolina University, along with additional certifications from recognized institutions.
