Cecilia C. Borromeo

LANDBANK President and CEO Cecilia C. Borromeo’s extensive banking career spans over 30 years of handling various posts in agricultural and development lending, treasury and investment banking, public sector lending, corporate banking, global banking, wholesale banking and lending program management. She holds the distinction of being at the helm of two government financial institutions – Development Bank of the Philippines which she capably led for two years and LANDBANK where she started her banking career. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness at the University of the Philippines Los Banos and underwent the Master in Business Administration of the De La Salle Business School. She is a graduate of the Advanced Bank Management Course of the Asian Institute of Management and the Pacific Rim Bankers Program at the University of Washington Executive Education Foster School of Business. She also attended the International Study on Rural Banking and Finance at the Massey University in New Zealand.
