Dorsey Grist

Dorsey Grist is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in commercial lending and relationship management. Currently serving as the Commercial Lending Division Manager at United Community Bank since January 2003, Dorsey leads a team dedicated to addressing the financial needs of commercial and middle market businesses in the Northeast Atlanta area. Dorsey holds a Senior Vice President title and is a 2017 Leadership Academy Graduate. Prior experience includes a Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager role at SunTrust Bank from July 1990 to December 2002, where responsibilities encompassed managing a substantial commercial banking portfolio, client acquisition, and sales goal achievement, alongside expertise in interest rate hedging agreements, mergers and acquisitions, commercial leasing, and asset-based lending. Dorsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Associate of Science in Business from Young Harris College.
