Jose Muñoz

Jose Muñoz has worked in various roles since 2015. Jose began their career as a Youth Advocate Leader at Berkeley Unified School District, where they cofounded Berkeley's first Youth Court program and educated teens on California's judicial court processes. In 2017, they joined the Youth Policy Institute as a Financial Coach and Case Manager, providing counseling services to low-to-moderate income individuals and tracking client progress on a rolling basis. In 2019, they moved to Automobile Club of Southern California as a Life Insurance Specialist, performing needs-based financial assessments and creating illustrations to present to prospective clients. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Project Management Specialist at United Dwelling.

Jose Muñoz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley in 2016. In 2018, they obtained a Personal & Family Financial Planning certification from Coursera. In 2019, they obtained a Resident Insurance Producer: Life-Only Agent certification from the California Department of Insurance.
