Yu Zheng

Yu Zheng has extensive work experience in the legal field. They started their career in 2004 at China National Logging Corporation, where they held roles as Deputy Legal Director and Internal Control Manager/Internal Auditor. During their time at this company, they established legal risk management systems, managed legal affairs, and conducted overseas legal risk investigations. They also played a key role in establishing an Enterprise Risk Management System. In 2009, Yu Zheng joined CNPC Greatwall Drilling Company as Legal Director. In this role, they led a legal team, developed model contracts, and performed legal reviews for various contracts. They also oversaw the legal affairs of domestic and overseas business units and provided legal advice for significant transactions. In 2019, they joined Kuwait Energy Basra Limited as Head of Legal, before moving on to their current role as Head of Legal at China United Power Source Group.

Yu Zheng's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. In 1993, Yu Zheng attended Northwest University but did not obtain a degree or a field of study. From 2001 to 2004, Yu Zheng pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at China University of Petroleum, Beijing. Additionally, Yu Zheng acquired various certifications, such as Corporate Legal Advisor from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of China, and the Ministry of Justice of China in 2013. Yu Zheng also obtained the Senior Economist certification from China National Petroleum Corporation in 2012. Furthermore, Yu Zheng passed Level I of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exam administered by the CFA Institute. Yu Zheng also holds a Legal Professional Qualification Certificate from the Ministry of Justice, although the exact year of obtaining this certification is not specified.
