Sally Houghton

Sally Houghton has extensive experience in fundraising and partnerships within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as Director of Fundraising at United for Global Mental Health since March 2021, Sally has also held roles as Head of Fundraising and Partnerships and Head of Fundraising (consultant) at the same organization. Prior to this, Sally worked at Fight for Peace as Head of International Funding and at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) as Senior Manager of Resource Mobilisation and Programme Development. Additional fundraising experience includes positions at The British Red Cross as Senior Institutional Fundraiser and at Age UK as Statutory Fundraising Officer. Sally began her academic journey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from the University of Southampton, graduating with a 2:1 (Hons).
