Intake + Outreach Coordinator at United Friends of the Children

Miguel Oaks has extensive experience in counseling, outreach, and case management, spanning over a decade in various roles. Currently, Miguel serves as the Intake and Outreach Coordinator and Advocacy Counselor at United Friends of the Children since November 2018. Previously, Miguel worked as the Student Services Coordinator at the Computer Technologies Program (CTP) and as a Bilingual Employment Case Manager at Hospitality House, focusing on support for low-income individuals. Miguel's earlier experience includes serving as a High School Counselor at Las Cruces Public Schools and providing clinical counseling at Southwest Counseling Center. Miguel holds a Master of Arts in Counseling & Guidance and a Bachelor of Arts with double majors in Philosophy and Psychology from New Mexico State University.
