Lauren Hennion has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Lauren is currently working at the Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ, where they have held the positions of Chief Operating Officer since September 2022 and Chief Program Officer from July 2019 to November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the same organization in multiple positions starting in 2011.

Lauren also has experience as a Part-time Lecturer at Rutgers University from September 2016 to January 2017. In 2009, Lauren had their own Private Practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing therapy to individuals and families.

Lauren has worked as a clinician at Effective School Solutions/Cornerstone Day School from August 2010 to June 2011, implementing therapeutic programs for students with psychiatric issues in a school environment. Lauren has also served as a Clinical Consultant at the Child Advocacy Center, Union County Prosecutor's Office from February 2009 to August 2010, providing support and services to children and families affected by child abuse.

Earlier in their career, Lauren worked as an LCSW Clinician at Trinitas Regional Medical Center from August 2006 to August 2010, providing therapy to children, adolescents, and their families. Lauren also worked as an MSW Student Intern at Morristown Memorial Hospital - Family Enrichment Program from September 2005 to April 2006, offering therapy and evaluations to clients involved with DYFS. Other experiences include a role as an MSW Student Intern/Counselor at TeenPride Inc. from September 2004 to June 2005, and a Program Assistant at Family Services of Morris County- Time Out Adult Day Care from May 2003 to August 2003.

Lauren Hennion received a BA in Psychology from Rutgers University in 2004 and later completed an MSW from the same university in Direct Practice from 2004 to 2006.
