Hariharan Iyer (Hari)

Hariharan (Hari) Iyer has a diverse work experience in finance and consulting roles. Hariharan (Hari) currently serves as the Head of Finance Transformation at United Living Group since April 2022. Prior to that, Hari worked at Ocado Group as a Group Financial Controls & Process Improvements Senior Accountant from October 2021 to March 2022, where they were responsible for implementing IFRS-16 accounting and drafting Standard Operating Procedures.

Before joining Ocado Group, Hari held multiple roles at Essentra from December 2016 to October 2021. As a Business Process Expert, they contributed to the redesign of global processes and implemented the Microsoft D365 ERP system. In their role as Finance Manager Filters Thailand, Hari managed the finance function of the country and led capex spend management. Hariharan (Hari) also served as a Finance Manager, overseeing finance, tax, and treasury functions.

Prior to their tenure at Essentra, Hari worked at KPMG India as an Assistant Manager from April 2016 to December 2016, where they executed and managed internal audits and IFC for clients in various sectors. Hariharan (Hari) also served as a Senior Consultant at KPMG from September 2014 to April 2016, working on internal audits and IFC for clients in media, manufacturing, travel, and mining sectors.

Hari's early career includes a role as an ERS-Consultant at Deloitte Haskins and Sells, where they led corporate debt restructuring review engagements for banks in India. Hariharan (Hari) also worked as a Risk Consultant in freelance audit engagements for leading media, manufacturing, and private equity companies.

Hariharan (Hari) Iyer has an extensive education history in various fields. In 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree from the University of Mumbai, specializing in Auditing. In the same year, Hari also completed a Company Secretary program at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

From 2008 to 2013, Hari pursued a Chartered Accountant degree at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, focusing on Auditing. Simultaneously, they studied Law at the University of Mumbai and received a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from 2011 to 2013.

In 2018, Hari attended the Labour Ministry Thailand and obtained a Safety Officer certification in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician.

Continuing their education in management, Hari pursued a Post Graduate Programme in Management from 2020 to 2021 at the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad. Additionally, in 2020, they enrolled in the Liverpool Business School for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General, set to be completed by 2022.
