Annie Bertrand

Annie Bertrand is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial inclusion, sustainable development, and public-private-community partnerships. Currently serving as a Financial Inclusion and Harmonization Expert at the United Nations Capital Development Fund since December 2022, Annie also plays a vital role in raising awareness about tourism's potential in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) through the SIDS Global Business Network. With prior experience as a Financial Advisor at the Pan American Development Foundation and a Digital Incubator and Cluster Expert at the Inter-American Development Bank, Annie's expertise spans across various sectors, including private sector development, youth programs, and education initiatives. Annie co-founded the India School Fund, which aims to enhance educational access in rural India, and has held multiple leadership roles, shaping strategies for impactful socio-economic development across diverse regions. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Université du Québec à Montréal.
