Cong Tran

Cong Tran has significant experience in finance and budget management within the United Nations system, currently serving as the Chief Cost Management Unit at the United Nations ESCAP since March 2019. Previously, Cong held various roles at the United Nations, including Finance Budget Officer and Subject Matter Expert in Funds Management, as well as positions at UNDP and UNICEF as a Finance Associate and Consultant, respectively. Prior experience includes a role as a Finance Analyst at Teknos Associates LLC and a Trade Marketing Executive at Unilever. Cong holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Corporate and Financial Management from Lund University and a Master of Science in International Marketing from Mälardalen University, along with a leadership program focused on women and the UN from the United Nations System Staff College.
