Sofya Mishchenko

Sofya Mishchenko is an experienced project manager currently working with the United Nations Global Compact since June 2022, focusing on mobilizing the maritime sector towards decarbonization and sustainable practices. In addition, Sofya serves as the Corporate Engagement Coordinator for the Global Seaweed Coalition, managing grants to support the sustainable growth of the seaweed industry. Previous roles include Project Coordinator at UN Global Compact Norway, where responsibilities included organizing international collaborations and high-level meetings, and logistics coordination for TEDxBergen 2021. Sofya's educational background includes a Master's degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from the Norwegian School of Economics, along with exchange semesters at Kinki University, Hochschule Heilbronn, and JAMK University of Applied Sciences.
