Wynne B.

Wynne B. has a diverse and extensive work experience in communications and advocacy roles within various organizations. They have held positions such as Head of Communications at the United Nations Global Compact since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Communications Officer - Media Relations at the World Health Organization from October 2020 to September 2022. They also served as a Strategic Communications Advisor at Policy Cures Research from May 2020 to October 2020. From June 2018 to January 2020, Wynne B. held the role of Global Strategic Communications Director at Malaria No More. They have also worked with the World Health Organization in different capacities, including a Communications Officer and an Advocacy Officer from October 2015 to June 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Communications Consultant at UNDP from December 2014 to September 2015. Wynne B. has also contributed their skills as an Information Officer at the United Nations from December 2012 to December 2014. They started their career as an Associate Information Officer at the United Nations in May 2011 and also worked as a Communications Analyst at UNDP from May 2009 to May 2011. Their experience also includes roles at the International Rescue Committee as a Communications Manager from May 2006 to January 2009 and as a Health Unit Manager from December 2005 to May 2006.

Wynne B. pursued their education in a chronological order, starting with Northwestern High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 1994. Following that, from 1994 to 1996, they attended the University of South Carolina to study Journalism. In 1996, they briefly studied Dutch Studies at the University of Groningen.

Later, from 1997 to 1999, Wynne B. enrolled at the UNC School of Media and Journalism to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. Continuing their educational journey, they attended the University of Bath from 2002 to 2003 and earned a Master's degree (MA) in Contemporary European Politics and Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Wynne B. obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage in June 2021.
