Andrew Pearlman

Andrew Pearlman currently serves as the Programme Coordinator for the UN Joint Programme on Human Rights in the Philippines, having assumed the role in February 2023. Prior to this position, Andrew Pearlman operated as an independent consultant in international development and humanitarian affairs from August 2022 to February 2023 and held the title of Director of Society, East Asia at the British Council from July 2019 to August 2022. Andrew Pearlman has amassed extensive experience in humanitarian and resilience programming across various organizations, including Oxfam, Concern Worldwide, and Action Against Hunger, focusing on emergency response, strategic planning, and program management in challenging environments such as Nepal and South Sudan. Andrew Pearlman holds a Master’s degree in International (Social) Development from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor's degree in History and Politics from the University of York.
