Dr. Jean-Marc Segoun

Dr. Jean-Marc Segoun, PhD, is an experienced professional in human rights and research management, currently serving as Directeur des Opérations at Fondation de l’innovation pour la démocratie since September 2023. Previously, Dr. Segoun worked with the United Nations from August 2020 to October 2023 in various capacities including Human Rights Field Officer in the Human Rights and Protection Division, where responsibilities included monitoring human rights situations and conducting investigations. Dr. Segoun also held roles such as Research Officer at Paris Nanterre University and has actively participated in seminars and international symposiums focusing on reconciliation processes in post-conflict societies. Dr. Segoun holds a PhD in Political Science with a specialization in Conflict Studies from Université Paris Nanterre and a Master's degree in Human Rights Theory and Practice from Université Grenoble Alpes.
