Dr. Mihir Kanade

Dr. Mihir Kanade is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human rights and academic coordination. Since May 2020, Dr. Kanade has served as an Independent Expert for the UN Human Rights Council's Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development. In addition, Dr. Kanade has been associated with the University for Peace (UPEACE), a UN mandated institution, since 2009, where responsibilities have included Coordinator of Academics, Head of the Department of International Law, and Director of the UPEACE Human Rights Centre.
