Tom Haeck

Tom Haeck is a seasoned professional in the field of human rights with extensive experience at the United Nations Human Rights. Currently serving as the Human Rights Officer - Investigations Team Leader since May 2019, Tom has held multiple roles within the organization since 2011, including Human Rights Officer and Associate Human Rights Expert. Prior to this, Tom worked as a Liaison Officer for the United Nations Verification Mission in Colombia. Tom's educational background includes a Master of Advanced Studies in International Humanitarian Law from the Geneva Academy and two Master’s degrees from Ghent University in Conflict and Development, and National and International Public Law.
