Ahmed Hassanein

Ahmed Hassanein is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data strategy, architecture, and management. Currently serving as the Manager of Data Strategy & Architecture at the United Nations OCHA since January 2018, Ahmed leads initiatives focused on the deployment of digital technologies for business intelligence and analytics, while providing strategic advisory to UN partners. Previous roles include Data Architect at UN OCHA, Solutions Specialist at the World Health Organization, and various technical consultative positions in software development. Ahmed holds a Master of Engineering in Data Science from Lund University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Alexandria University.
