Brian Grogan

Brian Grogan is an accomplished policy professional with extensive experience in international relations and humanitarian affairs, currently serving as a Policy Officer in Intergovernmental Relations at the United Nations OCHA since November 2019. Grogan has held key positions, including Senior Adviser at the United Nations Executive Office of the Secretary-General, where responsibilities involved advising on programmatic integration and engaging with UN agencies. Previous roles also feature contributions to the Global Compact on Migration as Senior Policy Advisor/Deputy Chief of Staff and leadership positions within various UN bodies focused on humanitarian coordination and peacebuilding. Grogan holds a Master of International Affairs in Human Rights from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Fairfield University.
