Hunar Hassan is a seasoned humanitarian professional with extensive experience in program management and coordination. Currently serving as the National Humanitarian Affairs Officer at the United Nations OCHA since October 2016, Hunar monitors and analyzes humanitarian developments in the Ninewa sub-office, providing critical information for sitreps and reports. Academically, Hunar holds a Master’s Degree in International Development from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Salahaddin University in Iraq.
