Martina Di Benedetto serves as the Head of the Oversight and Compliance Unit at the United Nations OCHA since November 2019, where responsibility includes overseeing fiduciary accountability and risk management for over US$ 2 billion distributed annually in humanitarian aid. Prior to this role, Martina held positions at Bioversity International and in various capacities at OCHA, focusing on humanitarian affairs and funding coordination between 2013 and 2019. Experience extends to the International Rescue Committee as a Training Consultant and Regional Grants Officer, and earlier roles included work with NGOs such as Restless Development and Azafady. Martina's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as two Master's degrees in International Relations from Luiss Guido Carli University.
