Fabienne Pairon

Fabienne Pairon is an experienced language education professional currently serving as the French Language Programme Coordinator at the United Nations Office at Geneva since September 2014. Previously, Fabienne held roles such as French language teacher and Language Training Consultant at the United Nations Geneva Office, where responsibilities included training evaluation and the development of internal language training policies. Earlier positions include head of the French Programme at the United Nations from 2003 to 2009, where Fabienne coordinated pedagogical projects and trained staff, as well as serving as the Pedagogical Head at Alliance française de Bruxelles - Europe, overseeing specific purposes courses and trainer development. Fabienne began a career as a French Teacher at the French Center, teaching general and business French to Chinese students. Education includes a Master's degree in teaching French as a foreign language from Université catholique de Louvain.
