Stella Hamisi has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Stella began their career as an Accounting Officer at Christian Children's Fund in Kenya in 1997, where they were responsible for various financial tasks such as budgeting, reporting, bookkeeping, payroll management, and cash reconciliation. Stella then worked as an Accountant at Electrowatts Limited from 2001 to 2003. Following this, they joined UNSACCO as a Finance Assistant from 2004 to 2009. Stella then transitioned to UNEP, where they worked in Project Management from 2009 to 2011. Stella'smost recent role was as an Accountant at the United Nations Office at Nairobi, where they have been employed since 2011.

Stella Hamisi's education history begins with their enrollment at the Eagle School of Accountancy from 1996 to 2006, where they pursued a degree in Accounting and became a CPA Finalist. Subsequently, they attended the Kenya Institute of Management from 2006 to 2008, earning a Diploma in Project Management. From 2009 to 2012, they enrolled in the United States International University - Africa and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 2011, Stella took part in a self-employment initiative and obtained Prince 2 Certification in Project Management. Lastly, they pursued further studies in Management Accounting as a private student.
