Yauheniya Yakouchyk

Yauheniya Yakouchyk has extensive experience in translation and interpretation, currently serving as a Russian Translator at the United Nations Office at Nairobi since April 2021. Prior roles include Translator at the United Nations from May 2019 to April 2021 and various positions as a Translator and Conference Interpreter for multiple organizations, including the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design and the World Meteorological Organization. Yauheniya has also worked as an English Language Trainer with IT ALLIANCE and IT English. Educational qualifications include a Master's equivalent in Conference Interpreting and Translation from St. Petersburg School of Conference Interpreting and Translation, along with degrees in Economics and Law from Belarusian State University and Linguistics from Minsk State Linguistic University.
