Elena Kasko

Elena Kasko serves as the Deputy Director and Senior Policy and Strategic Partnership Advisor at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Brussels, a position held since April 2014, with previous roles including Acting Director and Board and Governance Specialist. Prior to UNFPA, Elena Kasko was a Sector Manager at the European Commission and worked as a Programme Officer for Sida. Additional experience includes serving as a Programme & Culture Officer at the Embassy of Sweden and an Educational Advisor/Trainer with the Council of Europe. Elena Kasko holds multiple Master's degrees in International Public Law from institutions including King's College London, Queen Mary University of London, SOAS University of London, and UCL, as well as a Master's in Law from the Belarusian Academy of Management. Further education includes studies at Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
