Nilesh Deshpande

Nilesh Deshpande is a National Program Specialist for Adolescents and Youth at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since May 2021, with a strong background in public health and program coordination. Previously, Deshpande served as an Associate at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and held various roles at UNFPA, including State Programme Coordinator from 2010 to 2021 and State Program Officer from 2006 to 2007. Deshpande also worked as a Technical Advisor at IntraHealth International and a Project Leader at Pathfinder International, focusing on health program management and capacity building. Nilesh Deshpande holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA in Health from IIHMR, and an MBBS degree from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
