Alejandro Saucedo

Alejandro Saucedo currently serves as the Director of Engineering for Applied Science, Product, and Analytics at Zalando, overseeing the engineering and analytics for large-scale platforms within the European e-commerce tech company. Alejandro holds a position as Director of Engineering & Applied Science at the United Nations and also serves as an AI Expert for the UN Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence. As a Scientific Advisor at The Institute for Ethical AI & Machine Learning, Alejandro contributes to high-impact initiatives regarding responsible AI design and European policy, while also being a Board Member of the Association for Computing Machinery, representing a global network of professionals. Previous roles include Vice President of Engineering at Seldon, Head of Engineering & Science Department at Eigen Technologies, and various positions in software engineering at Bloomberg LP and as a contractor. Alejandro holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southampton.
