Camilo Téllez

Camilo Téllez serves as the Deputy Managing Director and Head of the Digital Payments Innovation Hub at the Better Than Cash Alliance, part of the United Nations, since May 2017. Téllez has held several key positions within the organization, including Head of Research and Innovation, and has provided regional advisory services for Latin America and West Africa. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Research for Better Than Cash at UNCDF, and various consultant and advisory positions with the World Bank and GSMA, focusing on digital finance and mobile money. Téllez holds multiple advanced degrees in International Relations, Economic Development, and Information Systems, as well as several professional certificates from prestigious institutions, including Harvard Business School and Oxford University.
