Hashim Abdullah

Hashim Abdullah is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and global communication. Currently serving as an Ambassador to the Public in the Global Communication Department at the United Nations since October 2019, Hashim also holds multiple positions at LaGuardia Community College, including French Language Lab Instructor, where responsibilities involve working closely with students to enhance their language skills, and Student Success Mentor, which focuses on facilitating student engagement and professional development. Previously, Hashim worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Foreign Languages, ESL, and Humanities at York College. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Foreign Languages from Kostroma State University, a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from Queens College, diversifying doctoral education in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from The Graduate Center, and an Associate's degree in International Relations from LaGuardia Community College.
