Magnus Wallin

Magnus Wallin is an experienced safety and security professional with a focus on public safety and crisis management. Currently serving as the Head of the Safety and Security Unit and Chief Security Officer at Sida since November 2020, Wallin also operates Suebra konsult, a consulting firm specializing in public safety services. With a long-standing involvement in various roles, including Director of Safety and Security and Chief Fire Officer at Norrtälje kommun from 2015 to 2020, Wallin has held significant positions in firefighting and civil safety, such as Head of Department for both the Greater Stockholm Fire Brigade and Södra Roslagen Fire and Rescue Services. Wallin is a member of several professional rosters, including the UN and MSB, for international deployment as a Fire Safety Officer and DRR Team Leader.
