Marc Chalamet

Marc Chalamet is an accomplished journalist and editor with extensive experience in news reporting and translation. Currently serving as the NY Correspondent for Le Parisien since August 2019, Chalamet has also reported for various newspapers and magazines in both French and English since April 2016. Additionally, an editor, writer, and translator for UNICEF and other UN agencies since May 2016, Chalamet has contributed significantly to global French publications. Previously, Chalamet held various roles, including Correspondent for Le Parisien in New York from 1987 to 2001, Founder and Managing Director of News of America, and News/Photo Editor at The Associated Press. Chalamet is also dedicated to community service, volunteering with Entraide Française since January 2014. Educational credentials include a Maitrise in Politique et Administration from Sciences Po Lyon and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Université Lumière Lyon 2, along with a recent certificate in Social Work and Spirituality from New York University.
