Pramila Patten

Pramila Patten is a distinguished barrister at law with a robust background in international law and a specialization as a United Nations CEDAW Expert. Currently serving as Under Secretary General at the United Nations since 2017, Pramila Patten holds the position of Special Representative of the Secretary General on Sexual Violence in Conflict. With extensive experience in legal practice since 2003, Pramila Patten has dedicated efforts to promoting gender equality and combating discrimination. Educational achievements include a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law and Legal Studies from University College London (UCL).
