Victor Ochen

Victor Ochen currently serves as the Executive Director at AYINET since January 2005 and as a Global Advisor to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees since September 2015, focusing on Gender, Forced Displacement, and Protection. Victor is also recognized as a Global Ambassador for Peace and Justice, promoting Global Goal 16 and advocating for victims of war and peace in Africa. Previously, Victor worked as a Communication Officer for Adolescent Sexual Reproductive Health at the Straight Talk Foundation and was the Chairman of the Uganda National Student Association. Victor holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Conflict Peace and Security from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Development Studies from World University of Leadership, along with executive leadership qualifications from prestigious institutions like Stanford University and the University of Oxford.
