Melissa Zawada

Melissa Zawada has a comprehensive work experience in the wellness and natural field sales industry. Melissa currently holds the role of Sr. Director of Wellness at UNFI since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Natural Field Sales at Gaia Herbs from May 2020 to September 2021, where they were responsible for formulating and executing go-to-market strategies and managing budgets. Before that, Melissa held various roles at Twinlab Consolidation Corporation (TLCC) from December 2019 to May 2020, including VP of Sales & Marketing and Director of Online Sales. At TLCC, they managed multi-million dollar sales and marketing operations and oversaw key accounts. Melissa also had a role as Eastern Regional Manager at Reserveage Nutrition from March 2014 to March 2017, where they managed sales and customer relationships. Melissa has also owned their own business as the Owner of Bloom Solutions, LLC from September 2011 to January 2013. Additionally, Melissa worked at Naylor, LLC in multiple sales and managerial roles from 2001 to 2011, and they started their career as a Communications Coordinator at the American Red Cross from June 1994 to November 2000.
