William Fennell

Director Information Technology Applications at United Natural Foods

William Fennel has over 20 years of experience in information technology and management roles. William began their career as a Senior UNIX Engineer at Channing Laboratory, where they were responsible for ensuring the operational effectiveness of the computing facility. William then joined Mass General Brigham as a Lead Systems Engineer, where they designed and implemented Solaris Clusters and tested business continuity plans. William later became an IS Manager at Mass General Brigham, where they were responsible for vendor relationship management and server patch deployments. Fennel then moved to UNFI as the Director of Information Technology Applications, leading 30 Manhattan WMOS upgrades and conversions and supporting multiple onsite locations. Throughout their career, Fennel has worked with various warehouse technologies and has experience in system integration and server operations.

William Fennell completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College in 1999. William then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2004. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2014.
