Karan Aggarwal

Karan Aggarwal is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at UOB and a Senior Software Engineer at Aleph-Labs since September 2023, Karan previously held the position of Lead Engineer at Smarsh, leading a team to modernize a legacy monolithic application into scalable micro-services for a user base of 250,000. Prior experience includes roles at Oracle as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, where Karan contributed to the development of a server-side MDM solution, and at Samsung R&D Institute India, enhancing the Samsung KNOX native MDM framework. Initial professional work began at HCL Technologies as a Software Engineer, implementing efficient data extraction and transfer systems for Deutsche Bank. Karan holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
