Stephan Hocking

Stephan Hocking is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology and operations within the banking and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at United Overseas Bank Limited since 2019, Stephan leads technology delivery for both Retail and Wholesale Banking, focusing on engineering excellence and Agile practices. Prior to UOB, Stephan held senior roles at EPAM Systems, HSBC Private Bank, and Credit Suisse, where responsibilities included project delivery for financial institutions, transforming global operating models, and implementing IT solutions across asset management and private banking. Stephan's career began at KPMG and McKinsey & Company, where strategic consulting shaped early expertise in business and IT projects. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, an MSc in Computer Systems Engineering from The University of Edinburgh, and a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Physics from The University of Sheffield.
