Andrew Schaffer

Andrew Schaffer has extensive experience in design and engineering within the theme park industry, serving as Vice President of Design and Engineering at United Parks & Resorts since March 2011, following roles including Corporate VP of Attraction Design and Development and Corporate Director of Project Management, focusing on major capital expansion projects for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment. Previous experience includes positions as Director of Design and Engineering and Project Manager, responsible for coordinating and implementing various projects. Andrew began as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at TLC Engineering for Architecture, working on HVAC system designs, and also served as a Drafting Technician at SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, developing site plans and managing blueprints. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida and an Associate of Arts in Engineering from Seminole State College of Florida, complemented by a high school diploma from Lake Mary High School.
