Maureen O'Brien Wieser

Maureen O'Brien Wieser has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the banking and healthcare industries. Maureen most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at United Prairie starting in November 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at MidCountry Bank from March 2012 to April 2020. During their time at MidCountry Bank, they focused on streamlining operational performance, executing program initiatives, and spearheading process improvements.

Before their role at MidCountry Bank, Maureen worked at Bremer Bank for nearly two decades. Maureen held the position of Sr Vice President - Regional Human Resources Business Partner from 2000 to 2012, managing the HR functions for a $5 billion group of banks. Maureen also served as a Training Manager, Branch Manager, and Regional Human Resources Manager during their tenure at Bremer Bank.

Prior to their career in banking, Maureen worked as a Communications Coordinator at St. Francis Medical Center from 1982 to 1986.

Maureen O'Brien Wieser earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Journalism and Public Relations from Bemidji State University. Maureen also holds a degree from the Graduate School of Bank Human Resources Management, where they earned an ABA qualification.
