Karen M. Harrison

Karen M. Harrison is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development, sales, and community relations. Currently serving as the Director of Development at Sioux City Public Schools Foundation since December 2021, Karen also works as a Real Estate Agent with United Real Estate Solutions. Previous roles include Community Relations and Sales Manager and Sales Manager at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Sioux City, and Corporate Sales Manager at Holiday Inn & Suites Des Moines Northwest. Early career experiences include sales and marketing at SERVPRO of East and Southwest Des Moines and special events management for the American Lung Association in Iowa. Karen holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with additional coursework in Elementary Education and Special Education from Wayne State College.
