Chcio Stephanie McDonell

Stephanie McDonell, CHCIO, is currently working as the CIO at United Regional Health Care System since April 2018. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Health Information Technology at HCTec from August 2014 to April 2018. From December 2014 to December 2016, they held the position of Epic Program Director at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Application Services at Piedmont Healthcare from April 2011 to August 2014. Stephanie also has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Keller Graduate School of Management from October 2008 to October 2012 and as the Director of Application Services at Southern Regional Medical Center from May 2005 to April 2011. Their earlier work experience includes holding the role of Network Administrator at deSter from 1998 to 2005 and Cost Accountant at William Carter Company from 1988 to 1993.

Stephanie McDonell, CHCIO completed their education at two institutions. From 1998 to 2000, they attended Clayton State University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus on Management Information Systems and Services. Following this, they pursued further education and enrolled in the Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University from 2006 to 2007. During this period, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Project Management.
