Dr. Nadja Schmiedl

Dr. Nadja Schmiedl has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Dr. Nadja is currently the CTO at United Robotics Group since September 2022. Before joining United Robotics Group, they worked as the SVP Strategy & Technology at RAG-Stiftung from April 2022 to September 2022. Prior to that, they were the SVP Group Strategy & Corp. Development at R. STAHL Group from April 2018 to April 2022. Dr. Schmiedl has also worked as an Independent Consultant, Trainer, and Coach from January 2014 to September 2018. Dr. Nadja has significant experience in Lean and Process Improvement, having served as a Senior Manager at WDScott, Ltd. from June 2012 to January 2014 and as a Program Manager at Siemens from January 2009 to July 2011. Dr. Nadja also worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at Siemens from October 2005 to December 2008. Dr. Schmiedl started their career as a Research Assistant at Chemnitz University of Technology from March 2003 to September 2005.

Dr. Nadja Schmiedl has a diverse education history. Dr. Nadja completed their Master of Dispute Resolution at the Law Faculty of the University of Technology Sydney from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their PhD in Engineering from Technische Universität Chemnitz, specializing in Industrial Engineering, from 2003 to 2007. Dr. Nadja also holds a Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. in Business Administration and Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Chemnitz, which they earned from 1997 to 2003. In addition to their formal degrees, Dr. Schmiedl has received training as a conflict coach and accredited mediator from Leadr, where they specialized in conflict management.
