David Benson

David Benson is a seasoned finance and analytics professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and logistics sectors. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at United Rotorcraft since May 2025, David drives financial strategy and operational performance for aerospace manufacturing and MRO programs. Previously, in a role as Vice President of Operations Analytics at Air Methods from 2019 to June 2025, David focused on enhancing planning and scheduling processes for aviation personnel. David's earlier experience at NetJets from 2001 to 2019 included key leadership positions, such as Director of Business Insights and Analytics, overseeing analytical teams and driving workforce optimization. David also held various roles in financial planning and analysis at United Parcel Service from 1997 to 2001, starting as an intern while pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan, complemented by a B.A. in Mathematics from Haverford College.
