Melinda Simms currently serves as Chapter Advocacy Coordinator at United Spinal Association, a role focused on grassroots advocacy for spinal cord injury and disease since January 2022. Prior to this position, Melinda accumulated extensive experience in medical support roles, working as a Medical Assistant, EMT-A, Trauma Technician, Aeromedical Technician, and Phlebotomist from 1974 to 2018. Additionally, Melinda retired from Cotter's Cleaning LLC, where commercial cleaning services were provided from 2007 to 2018. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Computer Numerical Control from NHTI (2012-2015) and certification in Health Services Technology/EMT from the Community College of the Air Force (1985-1989).
