Senior Laudato Si’ Advocate at United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

Gabrielle Aragon is a dedicated advocate for integral ecology, currently serving as a Senior Laudato Si’ Advocate at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops since August 2021. In this role, Gabrielle engages with federal legislative processes to promote ecological initiatives in collaboration with the National Religious Partnership for the Environment. Gabrielle’s extensive experience includes positions such as President Emeritus and Council Member of the Town of San Luis, where Gabrielle became the youngest elected official in Colorado. Additionally, Gabrielle held the role of Director of Planning and Zoning for the City Council and has significant leadership experience with the Southwest Conservation Corps and Costilla County Search and Rescue. Gabrielle holds a degree in Political Science with Paralegal Studies from Adams State University, complemented by studies at Colorado Christian University.
