Josephine Williams

Josephine Williams is a talented attorney currently working with the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley since March 2024. With a wealth of experience, Josephine has served as a Federal Court Interpreter for the United States Courts since July 2011, holding lifetime certification, and has worked as a Spanish Interpreter for the Judicial Council of California since 2011. Previous roles include Associate County Counsel for Alameda County, Legal Advisor at Comunidades Indigenas en Liderazgo (CIELO), and Board Member at La Peña Cultural Center. Notable educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Master’s degree in Diplomatic Translation-Interpretation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Wellesley College. Additional training includes a fellowship in Digital Trade, Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Law at the University of Amsterdam and an internship in EU Antitrust Law with the European Commission.
