Ben Leming

Course Director at United States Cyber Command

Ben Leming started their work experience as a Riflemen for the United States Marine Corps in 1994. Ben then served as a Helicopter Pilot, Legal Officer, Adjutant, and Safety Officer for the same organization from 2001 to 2004. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as an Intelligence Officer, managing personnel and overseeing a budget. Ben then transitioned to the role of an Instructor and Leadership Development Specialist at the United States Naval Academy from 2008 to 2010. Continuing their career, they joined IntelliWare Systems as a Program Manager and Budget Analyst in 2011, before moving on to the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command as a Cyber Planner and Intelligence Manager from 2011 to 2014. In the same period, they also worked at the U.S. Cyber Command as a J7. From 2014 to 2016, Ben Leming served as a Senior Director of Strategy and Operations at Cyber Reliant Corp. In 2016, they took on the role of Vice President of Cyber Business Development and Operations at Strategic Ventures Consulting Group. Later in the same year, they became a Course Director at the U.S. Cyber Command, leading the development and instruction of joint operational design courses.

Ben Leming attended the United States Naval Academy from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in English. Their next educational endeavor took place from 2008 to 2009 at the University of Maryland, where they pursued a Master of Professional Studies degree in Organizational Leadership and Education.
